Dear Colleague,

Gothenburg, one of the cradles of modern implant dentistry, seems the perfect place to hold the Astra Tech World Congress 2012. Under the theme “Creating the future by going back to the roots” it is time to look back on the past 50 years of development, to address the burning issues of today and to speculate about the direction of implant dentistry in the future.

The scientific committee has worked intensely to put together an attractive program. Renowned speakers from many countries will bring their expertise and knowledge to the Astra Tech World Congress 2012. Many exciting fields of dental implant treatment will be covered during these interesting days. All dental professionals and scientists will profit from the contents of the lectures, improving their clinical success or focusing on their research. Apart from the content of the meeting you will also have the opportunity to interact with colleagues, exchanging experiences and talking about current trends and future directions of implant dentistry.
