Tomas Albrektsson reflects on the upcoming Astra Tech World Congress 2012

If you are going to do one thing in Gothenburg, Tomas Albrektsson suggests that you visit a local fish restaurant; Gothenburg is, after all, known for its fresh seafood. We sat down with him to talk about his role in the development of this year’s scientific program, and how it differs from the previous two world congresses.

Tomas Albrektsson,  MD, PhD, ODhc, and Professor at the Department  of Biomaterial Research at The Sahlgrenska Academy at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, is one of the members of the Scientific Committee Steering Group for the Astra Tech World Congress 2012. He has, together with Jan Lindhe and Christoph Hämmerle, built a scientific program focused on the delegates and their interests.  Watch the video

Join Team Run for LIFE in the world’s largest half marathon, GöteborgsVarvet, on May 12

Christoph Hämmerle shares his thoughts on the Astra Tech World Congress 2012

Christoph Hämmerle really enjoys flying into Gothenburg – he loves the stark coastline and vast forests. We sat down with him to chat about his role in the development of the scientific program and what he looks forward to at the world congress in Gothenburg. Professor Hämmerle, DDS, PhD, and Professor at the University of Zurich, Switzerland, is one of the members of the Scientific Committee Steering Group for the Astra Tech World Congress 2012.
